Name:
Wrenface
Age:
18 months
Rank:
Warrior
Gender:
Female
Personality:
Wrenface is definetly not the most popular cat in Thunderclan. She's not enthusiastic, and is extremely serious, aloof and calm. She speaks like a cat who's easily irritable, though in a less emotional tone. Among her many faults, she's not trustworthy, is quick to judge, brutally honest, and is too secretive and deceptive. She hates giving away information about herself, and will only do so under specific circumstances. All of that being said, Wrenface is exceptional at following orders and instructions. As far as most Thunderclan cats know, that's her only talent. Give her an instruction, and she'll follow it without fail.
Wrenface is a pragmatic cat, rarely doing things without thinking it over at least once or twice. While she can be harsh, she is especially so towards hotheads who rush into situations. After killing a cat, Wrenface knows that once you do something, you can never go back. Because she is so secretive, Wrenface is extremely guarded. She's very observant, and knows exactly what's going on around her. Even after being in Thunderclan for a few moons and having been born in the clan, Wrenface sees herself as an outsider. She doesn't think she fits in with the Thunderclan cats, and is actually a little insecure because of that.
While Wrenface is definetly not the nicest cat around, her personality has become much more kinder and gentler the longer she has been in Thunderclan. She thinks that being in a clan is making her soft, and she's definetly right. Wrenface takes a while to start to become regularly friendly to others. But if you give her time, you can see her true personality behind her "mask".
Picture(Optional):
Detailed Appearance:
Wrenface is a chocolate silver ticked tabby, inheriting her silver and tabby markings from her father and her chocolate color from a recessive gene that both her parents have. Physically, Wrenface resembles her father much more than her mother. She has his long, angular face, his almond-shaped eyes, and his build, though she is definetly a much more feminine version than him. She has a lean, sleek body shape, that covered in lean muscle. Wrenface's coat semi-long in length, though it's length doesn't really show a lot except for her tail, which is "plumed". Wrenface's coat has been described as a mottled grey-brown color. Like many tabbies, her underbelly is lighter than the rest of her coat. Wrenface's eyes are a pale, desaturated green that look like a gray-green color. She has many scars, including a large scar on her muzzle that runs from the right side of her forehead to her left cheek and other smaller ones on her body. Most cats find this strange, mainly because she doesn't fight a lot and appears to be a bad fighter.
History:
Raventhroat was a young, charismatic and vain warrior who did whatever she could to draw attention to herself. She would climb to the highest point in the highest tree, flirt with just about any warrior (whether they were from Thunderclan or not), and would generally get herself and others into trouble. So when a loner who introduced himself as Gus showed interest in potentially joining Thunderclan, Raventhroat would do everything in her power to get his attention and to spend time with him. Gus was the ideal Thunderclan male. He was large, older, and had a rugged, handsome look to him. He was covered with scars and had a stunning silver ticked tabby coat and bright green eyes. It took a lot of effort, but Raventhroat eventually managed to have a little "affair" thing going on in her pursuit to get the loner's attention (in reality, no one saw it as an affair and simply Raventhroat taking a liking to the rugged tom). Gus began to return her flirtatious comments, and he started to like the black she-cat. After spending a few moons around him, Raventhroat genuinely began to like Gus' company, but he left one day and never came back. It was around that time when Raventhroat discovered that she was pregnant. Raventhroat managed to keep her pregnancy a secret and gave birth in the forest. She gave birth to only one kit, who luckily looked nothing like her or Gus. Raventhroat then "found" her kit, and brought the kit back to the clan as a loner who had been abandoned by her mother. The kit, now named Wrentit then lived with a queen, and Raventhroat managed to keep her a secret.
At least, until Wrenkit grew older. As Wrenkit features came in, it was obvious that she was related to Gus. She looked like a much more feminine version of him. She had the same long face, the finely shaped ears, and while she was a different color, She had the exact same markings. At first, the clan suspected that Gus had dropped Wrenkit off on Thunderclan territory, but the queen looking after Wrenkit suggested that Raventhroat was her mother. It made sense, Raventhroat's mother had been chocolate, like Wrenkit, and Raventhroat had "found" the kit in the first place. While Wrenkit's true parents were the talk of that month, much to Raventhroat's delight, talk about her lineage eventually died down and everyone continued to treat the kit as normal. During this time, Raventhroat was made a queen and was tasked with looking after her daughter. Raventhroat was uncomfortable around the kit, but never complained and she took care of Wrenkit for a while.
When Wrenkit turned four moons, Gus came back. This time, he demanded that his daughter would live with him and not with the "weak clans". The Thunderclan cats protested against this, but Raventhroat handed her daughter over, saying it would be better for her to be somewhere without having to worry about being half-clan. Gus took Wrenkit away to a two leg place where he lived with a little "gang". Gus started to train his daughter when she turned 6 moons. Now named Wren, the "apprentice" trained in stealth, deception and killing. She was scolded whenever she she wasn't aloof, and was taught to be obedient to Gus. She was tasked with luring an killing rival gang members, but she hadn't killed a cat until she turned a 12 moons. Scarred, both physically and mentally, Wren ran away. Even though she trained to kill, she had never trained her mind to take a life. Her ex-gang was happy to get rid of her, finding her aloof and obedient attitude creepy. Only Gus chased after her. While balancing on a fence, Gus while chasing after her, Gus fell into a dog pen and died. Wren lived as a loner for a while, teaching herself to hunt prey and how to survive in a forest for a few weeks before, in a chance meeting, she ran into Raventhroat, who was now a permanent queen. Raventhroat immediately recognized her daughter and brought her to Thunderclan.
Because of her absence, Wren trained as an apprentice for a few moons, and was only recently named as a warrior, gaining the name Wrenface. She's never talked about her life outside Thunderclan, not even to Raventhroat. As far as Thunderclanners know, she was simply a rogue who lived a harsh life on the streets.
Roleplay Sample:
Other:
Wrenface almost never shows off her fighting skills. They're "her little secret". When she trained as an apprentice, most cats thought she was a bad fighter because she refused to train in combat, only training in hunting instead. Because of this, Wrenface is a little rusty when it comes to combat. But every once in a while, she'll practice her combat skills if she finds a large piece of prey when hunting. Wrenface also spends a lot of her time helping out in the seer den and nursery. Usually she runs errands for the seers or she makes up stories to the kits about her life as a loner.
Number of Cats:
2 characters, 1 adopt. She will be my third.
