ThunderClan resides in a small clearing created by a jagged circle of felled trees and ancient oaks. The clearing is surrounded by soft sand and foliage, lowered into a gully that can be difficult to spot from above thanks to the undergrowth. What remains of the largest tree is a stump which the leader rests on when in a meeting with the rest of the Clan.
The ranks here are carefully divided - queens and kits sleep within a burrow underneath the largest oak tree; apprentices reside in a hollowed-out bush while warriors rest within a larger pair of bushes that can fit roughly a dozen ThunderClan adults; elders are in the remains of a fallen log just wide enough to contain five cats; the seer sleeps behind the stump in ferns; and the leader and deputy rest near each other just outside of the perimeter of camp, in a nearly-impenetrable tangle of gorse.

Light beamed through the opening of the den, waking Fallowstar from his deep slumber. The air was too warm for his liking, but it had been that way for a few moons. Standing slowly, he yawned and gave his thick pelt quick licks before pushing through the opening of the den with a small smile. The camp was still, the only sound being a slight breeze rustling the leaves. The leader loved moments like this. Moments where everything felt serene and peaceful. A frown tugged at his lips. The sweet moment was short-lived as he remembered recent events. The drought, scarce food, and the death of Hazelleaf made the air feel heavier with worry and sorrow. The leader shook his head. "Think of the positive old sport." Fallowstar whispered to himself. Smiling once more, the tom sat in a shaded part of the camp and cleaned his fur, waiting for others to rise from their beds.

Briarnose blinked open a single eye as he felt the presence of the warm leader disappear. The tom couldn't help but feel a tinge of annoyance. Could you be any louder? He snorted before bringing himself to his dainty paws. He figured he might as well follow Fallowstar out of the shared den. He did this with great reluctance. He hadn't been sleep that long seeing as he had went on the midnight patrol. The irritation of not getting enough rest was clear in his dim and drooping yellow eyes as well as his twitching tail.
"Hello." He mumbled before letting out a yawn. "Excuse me." Was all he mewed before sitting down next to the larger tom. His yellow eyes scanned the clearing and he couldn't help but feel sorrow. No one was awake. Usually Hazelleaf would be about, checking the camp for omens before the warriors could get up and going but no. She was gone. Such a shame...Her presence will be missed... His thoughts drifted as he wondered who would succeed the old she cat.

Boulderpath had been sitting in the clearing, enjoying a patch of shade as he listened to the serene sounds of the quiet camp. He enjoyed waking up early, when he managed it, of course; the still of the sunlit morning was one of his favorite times of the day, with only the wind and the bugs to speak to him. He blinked his eyes open as he watched the two cats emerge from the den, one after the other. He was comfortable where he was, but he figured he should probably go and greet them. He waited a few extra seconds, then stood up, making his way over to the pair. "Good morning Fallowstar, Briarnose," he said, dipping his head at them in turn as he spoke, remaining standing in front of them, as he was both their junior; he'd learned to follow ever so subtle unspoken rules he made for himself about respecting seniority and rank. It simply helped him survive here. "Did both of you sleep well?"

Fallowstar grinned brightly at the deputy that sat next to him. Opening his mouth to greet Briarnose, he shut it when he noticed another feline walking towards them. Tilting his head slightly, he smiled at the warrior. "Good morning Boulderpath. I slept very well considering the heat." The leader mumbled. His thick pelt made the temperature more difficult to handle, but he preferred the heat to the bitter cold of leaf-bare. Fallowstar stifled a sigh. He wanted patrols and training to start before the evening, before it got too hot. Turning to Briarnose, his tail twitched softly. "Do you already have the patrols and hunting parties thought of, old sport?" He asked politely.

Boulderpath simply nodded his head, tail flicking once before stilling. The reply died on his lips as he watched the leader address the deputy. His silence was comfortable, as he didn't have much to say, other than I'm 'I glad you slept well', which honestly wasn't necessary at the moment. His thoughts drifted to the list of kits and apprentices in the nursery, playing a mental game of who else would wake up first. He was sure it didn't matter, but it was a way to pass the time. He would speak again when spoken to.

Briarnose squinted as he looked down on the ground. He hadn't had much time to think of patrols. He was trying to sleep but that had been interupted. Maybe he could tell Fallowstar whatever he came up with and just go back to snoozing. After all, there wasn't much you can do comfortably in the current weather. The sun had only just risen and it was already pipping hot.
Turning his head to the taller leader and ignoring the warriors question, he simply replied with a "yes" before explaining what he had quickly thought up. "Boulderpath, why don't you take Teaselheart to the RiverClan border as soon as you can." He scanned the clearing and wondered who he could send hunting. "Mudheart, Greyfoot, and Snaketail. Tell them they are due for a hunting patrol as well." He explained smoothly. "That should be all..."

Fallowstar nodded in agreement with the deputy's words. His clan was strong and would carry on normal duties despite conditions. Desperate to prove his determination, he stood abruptly, his eyes gleaming with a childlike glow. "I'll join you two." The leader mewed with excitement. Even as a kit, he found hunting and patrolling to be relaxing activities, minus the occasional trespassers. He could tell the Briarnose was tired, so he'd let him stay at camp while he tagged long with the patrol. The tom started towards the den, flicking his tail for Boulderpath to follow. Might as well wake up Teaselheart.

Underneath the hollowed out bush of the apprentice den, a small, mottled gray, cream and white body lay sprawled out in a carefully made moss nest. The apprentice's tail tip flicked up and down as Kestrelpaw dreamed pleasant dreams, and a loud, purring sound could be heard as the moss' warmth surrounded her. Her long leg muscles slowly started to extend as Kestrelpaw started to stretch, her hazel eyes fluttering open and her mouth transforming into a gaping yawn. Running her rough tongue over her lips, Kestrelpaw adjusted herself so she could glance out of the apprentice den for a moment before she stepped out of the apprentice den.
The Thunderclan camp was abuzz with chatter. Kestrelpaw contently watched her clanmates as they started their day and organized patrols. This brought some joy for Kestrelpaw, even though this was a usual sight, one that she saw almost every day. Dipping her head to a few of her clanmates, Kestrelpaw moved a little bit to the side so she wouldn't block the entrance of the apprentice den, and sat down. Curling her fluffy tail over her white paws, Kestrelpaw glanced around the camp, wondering if she would have any duties for the day.

Briarnose let out a sigh of relief once the patrol had been decided. He began to calculate in his mind who would be due for the evening patrol when he remembered that the gathering would occur that night. He bared his teeth. He honestly didn't feel like travelling all the way to Fourtrees but he knew he needed to be there. He didn't want StarClan to curse him for not coming. He was just being lazy.
"Hmmm." The tabby tom turned his head as the mottled Kestrelpaw caught his yellow gaze. "Fallowstar.." He mused lowly. "Take the apprentice, would ya?" His voice was calm. Once they're out, I can finally get some rest....
Teaselthroat had pretty much jumped out of his nest. He looked around frantically and it seemed most everyone else had been asleep too. Not being wary of any resting cats beside him, he stormed out of den where it seemed the leader, deputy, and a few other cats were discussing things. Was Fallowstar about to approach the warriors den.
"Sorry sir. I overslept." He cried. "Are you setting patrols? I can go on one. I'm pretty much ready for work." He began to lap at his fur. He felt bad for sleeping in but now there was no time to waste.

Fallowstar trotted towards Teaselthroat, giving him a smile. "You're fine lad, you're just coming on a patrol with me and a couple others." Three warriors was enough, but his eyes fell on his apprentice sitting outside the den. Briarnose had said something about an apprentice, but the leader had been too focused on the warrior's den to hear. Fallowstar shrugged and called out to the female. "Kestrelpaw, come along with us." The patrol would do her some good. Besides, he would be killing two birds with one stone. Turning towards the camp's entrance, he started towards it, not waiting to see who'd follow. "I'm ready when you all are."

Kestrelpaw looked at her white paws and awkwardly shuffled them around. She was bored. She couldn't see any of the other apprentices, they were probably still sleeping. The young apprentice desperately wanted to socialize with others her age, while talking with warriors was fun, speaking with one who had a similar maturity level and mindset was even better. It was especially great when Kestrelpaw could go on group training sessions with the other apprentices, which would give her opportunities to show off her skills. " Hmm?" Kestrelpaw murmured as she heard her name, her grey ears swiveling around so she could look at the familiar voice who had spoke. Kestrelpaw's eyes landed on her mentor, Fallowstar, and the young she-cat let out a squeal of excitement before jumping to her paws and bounding over to her mentor her who preparing to leave the camp. " I'm ready! Let's go!" Kestrelpaw exclaimed exitedly, looking around at the other warriors who were going on the patrol. loveymymavi,

Briarnose watched Teaselthroat and Kestrelpaw approach the leader and closed his eyes. He felt the sun heat up his thin fur and at this, he scrunched up his nose. "Show us some mercy, Horoa." He bared his teeth, almost daring to look up at the the bright orb in the sky. But he knew of those consequences. There had to be a reason for this. Were the three gods, punishing them for something? Sunning rocks... He thought firstly. No way, that battle had been way too easy. It was destined to be our win. He opened his eyes, remembering the tactics he had set up for that battle.
He let out a huff. Hazelleaf had pretty much told us to go take back what was rightfully ours. His ears pricked. Hazelleaf! Dear StarClan.... We need a seer and soon...
Teaselthroat let out a relieved sigh when the large leader didn't regard his over sleeping. "Thank you." Was all he said before stepping towards the leaders side. A patrol was all he needed. Getting out and hunting for the clan always made him feel better. Even if the sun was a pain in the tail. StarClan spare us please.
He was pulled from his thoughts when he heard a squeal. The tabby looked down at the mottled apprentice and grinned. He had been just like that when he was younger. Eager and smart... He missed those days.
"With an attitude like that, you're gonna catch a ton of prey." He encouraged. And so will I.. loveymymavi,мικαcнʋ,readysetdeath,

Fallowstar stopped at the entrance, looking at the patrol party. Although it would have been safer, he decided there was too many felines. Looking at them all, his eyes fell on Boulderpath. Giving the warrior a soft smile, he tilted his head slightly. "Well it seems we have a large party here, old sport. Would you mind staying with Briarnose?" The leader meowed politely. Something in his mind told him he should feel bad for excluding the warrior, but the patrol wasn't anything new or exciting. There'd be plenty of opportunities for the tom to leave camp. Turning away, Fallowstar left the camp. readysetdeath, мικαcнʋ, and alchepalch(Imma make the thread guyss....I'll tag you guysss)

In an isolated corner of the Thunderclan camp lay Wrenface. Her light, mottled female lay on her side, craning her head as she tried to look at the sandy clearing where most of the socializing was done. In her old gang, all of the cats had slept separated. Some would be on a ledge, others on the ground, just about anywhere that was smooth. In Thunderclan, it was all so different. Everyone was like a big family, and it pained Wrenface to know she wasn't a member. She had never been in any close-knit relationships, something that she hoped would eventually change.
Wrenface's greyish-green eyes watched as the first patrol of that morning out of camp. The patrol consisted of Fallowstar, Teaselheart, and the bubbly apprentice Kestrelpaw. Before they had head out, the camp had seems to be Meroe loud and brighter with them. Now, it was quiet and calm, as most of the Thunderclanners were asleep.
As the calm and silentness sunk in, Wrenface stepped into the clearing, her paws shifting slightly in the sandy earth as she paused. The sun was already scorching, and Wrenface felt grateful that her coat wasn't black like her mother's, though she did feel a little bit of contempt at its length. Wrenface took a moment to survey the camp, admiring how peaceful the camp was. Though it had been long ago, Wrenface could imagine the constant noise in her old gang. Fights would break out often, younger cats, both toms and she-cats, would try and claim the title of leader from Gus.
As she thought about her old life, Wrenface's many scars seemed to prickle on her pelt, especially the ones on her face. The she-cat moved to a shadier area of the camp, and began to groom her fur, especially her scars.
